Which electronic devices may get rejected at CityMobile？

Device not as described or not working.Stolen or report lost devices. iCloud or Password locked device.Phone with large / obvious bend.Water damage device.

Do i need to reformat my electronic device before selling it？
A
Yes. It is necessary for you to perform a factory restore to ensure your data is properly wiped-off before selling.

Do you provide backup services?
A
We do not provide backup services. We recommend that customers back up their device information before recycling their phones. We are not responsible for any data loss.

Dose my sale contribute to protecting the environment？
A
Yes, reusing is indeed even more sustainable than recycling.CityMobile always ensures that good use is made of your old devices and gives them another chance.

Do you take in sets purchased outside of Singapore?

It depends on the make and model. Please contact us.

Can you find my lost device?
A
We register all second hand devices with the Singapore Police Force (SPF). Devices found to be stolen will be withheld and handed over to the police. If you are looking for a lost device, you are advised to make a report with SPF. We do not entertain individuals looking for their lost device/s.

Do you charge GST?

No, we do not charge GST as we are not GST registered. GST registration in Singapore is not mandatory for small businesses with less than S$1m annual turnover.

Are refurbished/replacement sets considered new?

Refurbished sets are considered used, even if they are in original sealed packaging (e.g. Apple Certified Refurbished units.)
