Do I need to reformat my electronic device before it is recycled?
Yes. It’s necessary for you to perform a “factory reset” to guarantee that your data are correctly erased before the device is recycled.
Do you provide backup services?
We don’t provide backup services. You are advised to back up your device information before your used phone is recycled. We are not responsible for any loss of data.
Does my recycling contribute to the environment?
Yes, reuse is actually more sustainable than recycling. CityMobile guarantees that your used devices are fully utilized and gives them another opportunity.
Do you accept any device bought outside Singapore?
It depends on the brand and model. Please contact us for more information.
Can you find my lost device?
We have registered all second-hand devices with the Singapore Police Force (SPF). Any stolen device will be detained and delivered to SPF after it is found. You are advised to report to SPF if you are looking for your lost device. Sorry, we cannot receive personal visits of looking for lost devices.
Is any refurbished/replaced device a new one?
A refurbished device is deemed as a used one even it is sealed in an original package (e.g. a refurbished device certified by Apple).
